Last week the Need4Feed team travelled to Poreč for the XVI Symposium Poultry Days 2026 — one of the most important annual gatherings for poultry industry professionals in the region.

Organised by the Croatian Veterinary Institute Poultry Centre, the four-day symposium (6–9 May) brought together veterinarians, producers, nutritionists, and industry partners from across Croatia and the wider Central and Eastern European region. Topics ranged from biosecurity and disease management to feed efficiency and the latest advances in gut health science.

Representing EW Nutrition

Need4Feed was present at the EW Nutrition stand, showcasing the full portfolio of feed additive solutions for poultry producers. Central to the stand was Ventar D — EW Nutrition's next-generation gut health solution combining phytogenics and organic acids to support intestinal integrity, improve feed conversion, and reduce the need for antibiotics.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect directly with veterinary professionals and farm managers, discuss real-world challenges on poultry operations, and share the latest data on Ventar D performance outcomes in commercial flocks.

  • Hatchery management and early chick nutrition
  • Heat stress mitigation in broiler and layer flocks

Prošlog tjedna Need4Feed tim otputovao je u Poreč na XVI. simpozij Poultry Days 2026 — jedno od najvažnijih godišnjih okupljanja stručnjaka iz industrije peradarstva u regiji.

U organizaciji Centra za peradarstvo Hrvatskog veterinarskog instituta, četverodnevni simpozij (6.–9. svibnja) okupio je veterinare, uzgajivače, nutricioniste i industrijske partnere iz Hrvatske i šire regije Srednje i Istočne Europe. Teme su obuhvatile biosigurnost i upravljanje bolestima, iskoristivost hrane te najnovije spoznaje u znanosti o zdravlju probavnog sustava.

Need4Feed je bio prisutan na štandu tvrtke EW Nutrition, predstavljajući cjelokupan portfelj rješenja za aditive u hrani za uzgajivače peradi. U središtu štanda bio je Ventar D — EW Nutritionovo rješenje sljedeće generacije za zdravlje probavnog sustava koje kombinira fitogenike i organske kiseline kako bi podržalo integritet crijeva, poboljšalo konverziju hrane i smanjilo potrebu za antibioticima.

Događaj je pružio dragocjenu priliku za izravno povezivanje s veterinarskim stručnjacima i menadžerima farmi, razgovor o stvarnim izazovima u peradarskom uzgoju te dijeljenje najnovijih podataka o rezultatima Ventar D u komercijalnim jatima.

  • Zdravlje probavnog sustava i uloga fitogenika u proizvodnji bez antibiotika
  • Upravljanje inkubatorom i rana prehrana pilića
  • Ublažavanje toplinskog stresa u jatima brojlera i kokoši nesilica
